Western & Eastern Conference Finals Prediction

Disclaimer: First Round is already done in writing this. Game 2’s had been played in the Second Round.

Western Conference Finals: Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors. Suns in 7.

This will be a great and fun series. Both teams have tasted success and advancing in the NBA Finals, a full seven game series is the way it should go down. The Warriors have been stopping Chris Paul in his tracks from advancing in the past years, may it be with the Clippers or Rockets, but now Paul have a balanced and strong team and will be enough to overcome the Warriors wall. The Warriors ball and player movement is elite that make it hard for the defense and being the best defensive rated team in the season, they are balance as well. In terms of experience, they are almost even, and probably the Warriors have a slight edge with their history. But the Warriors evident weakness is size. James Wiseman is unavailable and the tallest player in the Warriors roster is Bjelica with a size of 6’9”. The Warriors have some athletic players but so do the Suns. Chris Paul, who have been called “The Point God”, can lead the Suns ball movement and they are not a static in player placement as the Suns players also move without the ball. Both teams are nearly equal, offense and defense wise, with the Warriors have an edge in shooters with the Splash Trio of Curry-Thompson-Poole and the Suns with its size. But at the end of the day, if the Suns can match up the shooting of the Warriors or defend well against it, you can’t teach height. Suns in 7.

Eastern Conference Finals: Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks. Bucks in 7.

The two teams that advances to represent Eastern Conference to the NBA Finals with one successfully taking the NBA Championship in Milwaukee Bucks. Another conference finals that will be exciting that would need a full seven game series. Teams that have reached deep in the playoff are usually the teams that are well balanced in terms of defense and offense, pretty much they are equal in all aspects. The things that will decide this series will be experience, depth, and how each team superstars respond. The Heat have perennial All-Stars in Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. A former All-Star in Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo, who came back from injury, and the Sixth Man of the Year candidate Tyler Herro. The 3 and D of PJ Tucker and shooting of Duncan Robinson. Coach Eric Spoelstra on the helm. These are roster that is of championship-level. Then there is the defending NBA Champions, the Milwaukee Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo-Khris Middleton-Jrue Holiday Big 3. Supported by fan-favorite Bobby Portis and Brook Lopez. Newly acquired Wesley Matthews and Grayson Allen, with other holdovers from last year. Also, a team with the core-intact, it would up to the superstars to win for the team. Giannis have shown his winning mentality with a back-to-back MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, a Finals MVP, and an NBA Champion. He would lead the Bucks again to the NBA Finals. Bucks in 7.
